As part of the LIC facilities, IIMK LIC provides discussion rooms/Ideation labs for its users to indulge in group discussion and brainstorming sessions where they can discuss innovative ideas. We currently have five discussion rooms, each accommodating up to six people. Users can book the rooms online through the online booking portal link, which is available on Intranet. Rules for the usage of Discussion Rooms/ Ideation Labs
• Ideation Lab / Discussion rooms are allotted only for academic activities;
• The Ideation Lab / Discussion room allotment is limited to a minimum of 3 persons and a maximum of 6 persons at a time;
• The online booking for the Ideation Lab / Discussion room should be requested at least 6 hours before the time of requirement. Approval for the same will be granted only during Library business hours.
• The names of all the Group Members, along with roll numbers, Email IDs and Mobile numbers, should be specified;
• If the group is unable to occupy the lab/ room, they should cancel at least 30 minutes in advance;
• If a group is not occupying the lab/ room within 15 minutes from the time of allotment, the room will be allotted to the backup group, who were on the waitlist;
• The defaulted group members will not be able to book the Ideation Lab / Discussion Room for the coming 10 Days;
• Booking for the Ideation Lab / Discussion room is limited to 5 days;
• Users are not permitted to bring their bags into the lab/room. They may be deposited at the Library property counter;
• Smoking, eating, sleeping and talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the lab/room;
• Prior permission is necessary for the usage of the Ideation Lab/discussion rooms;
• Users must replace the materials if they are broken, with the exact specification, along with fine;
• Users are not allowed to move any furniture from or into the lab/ room.
• Upon leaving, turn off the lights and air conditioner, lock the door & give back the key to the library counter properly.
